Reporting a comment
Readers can discuss each chapter in the comments. We don't tolerate abusive users or objectionable content.
To report a comment, open a chapter, tap Comments, then tap the ••• menu on the comment and choose Report Comment. To stop seeing someone, choose Block from the same menu. Their comments and replies vanish from your view.
We read every report and answer each one within 24 hours, remove content that breaches the Community Terms, and terminate the account that posted it.
You can review and undo your blocks under Settings › Community › Blocked Readers.
Deleting your account
Open Settings › Account › Delete Account in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile and username, every comment and reply you've written, every vote you've cast, and your block list. Your reading, audio and reminder preferences stay on your device. They were never tied to your account.
If you can't sign in to delete the account yourself, email us and we'll do it for you.
Community Terms
By creating a Kettle account you agree to the Community Terms, which you can read in full inside the app at Settings › Community › Community Terms, or on the sign-in screen before you register. In short: no harassment, hate speech, sexually explicit material, threats, spam, or impersonation. A single piece of objectionable content is enough to have an account removed.
Common questions
Does the app cost anything?
No. Every chapter, every recording and every feature is free. The optional tips inside Help Spread Wisdom support continued development and unlock nothing.
Can I put the daily verse on my Home Screen?
Yes. The widget guide shows both the Home Screen verse and the Lock Screen streak, one step at a time, with pictures.
Which translations are included?
The Living Bible and the King James Version, each with its own narration for all 31 chapters. Switch between them at the top of any chapter.
My daily reminder isn't arriving.
Check that notifications are enabled for Solomon's Wisdom in iOS Settings. If the app knows they're switched off it will say so on the reminder card and offer a shortcut to fix it.
Do I need an account?
Only to comment. Reading and listening work without one.
